Only five days after the last episode and the show returns. You lucky lot! This is all part of my efforts to get the show back on track following the extended absence due to illness. The final week of the Marvel Moratorium sees us back in Gotham City once again, this time courtesy of Judd Winick, Doug Mahnke and Tom Nguyen, as we visit Under The Hood Part 2.

The 20 Minute Longbox belatedly returns after a period of illness to take a look at one of the most popular and highly received series ever. It launched an entire imprint and its legacy is legaciclical (that may not be a word). It's The Sandman, and we're looking at issue #58 from the Kindly Ones arc. We also stop off to take a brief look at Doctor Who Magazine's 8th Doctor comics that I have spent the last month reading.

To return the show to its regular posting, I'll be double-shipping over the next couple of weeks, meaning that next week's episode will coincide with the release of the next Fantasticast. Hurrah!

The 22nd episode of the 20 Minute Longbox has the privilege of looking at one of my favourite series ever, Hitman, with a special guest-appearance (and believe me, it's special!) from Green Lantern. After listening to the show, pop down to your local comic shop and buy some Hitman trades, you won't regret it!

The 20 Minute Longbox is back, with new sound and a new mission. The Marvel Moratorium is in full effect, and we have four episodes free of Marvel to redress the balance. We're starting with Batman: Streets Of Gotham #3, one of Paul Dini's new titles that launched in the wake of the Battle For The Cowl, with art by Dustin Nguyen. The main story is supplemented by a Manhunter backup strip by Marc Andreyko and Georges Jeanty. Random Readings takes a look at some of the haul from the recent London Super Comic Convention, and more detail on my weekend there can be found at the show's blog.

Whilst you await the next episode of the 20 Minute Longbox, feast your ears on the new trailer for the show. Heavily influenced (i.e. ripped off) by the classic Farscape opening, it;s more exciting and less Brit-centric than the last one. Please do include it in your shows, and let me know so I can return the favour. In fact, to sweeten the deal, for each show that plays the trailer, I will swing by your itunes and leave you a review! Can't say fairer than that!

Cheers!

Hello and welcome to this jam-packed 20th episode of the 20 Minute Longbox.

Today, we look at 2001's Incredible Hulk #26 by Sean McKeever, Paul Jenkins and Kyle Hotz.

Random Readings takes a fast look at Scott Snyder, Jock and Francesco Francavilla's Batman: The Black Mirror.

Steve takes a look forward to the fast-approaching London Super Comic Convention.

And we see just how accurate the randomiser is when it comes to representing my comic collection on the show, an investigation that leads to a shocking decision that will forever change the show. For a bit. Until I change it back.

Hello and welcome to the 19th-ish episode of the 20 Minute Longbox, this time taking a look at the first issue of Amazing Spider-Man featuring the creative team of Stan Lee and John Romita Sr. WARNING: There will be spoilers within about the secret identity of the Gree Goblin, so if you've never read an issue of Spider-Man from this point onwards, seen any of the cartoons or the movies, then maybe this isn't for you... Also, find out what I've been reading recently in Random Readings.

Welcome to the 18th episode of the 20 Minute Longbox, taking a look at Ultimate X-Men #3 by Mark Millar and Adam Kubert. No funny stuff in this intro, as I'm tired. Go listen to the show and stop reading this!

Happy New Year! Welcome to the 17th episode of the 20 Minute Longbox, where we pick ourselves back up, put ourselves back on track, and take a long overdue look at JSA #80. It's a massively multidimensional issue, featuring the Tower of Dr Fate, the 5th Dimension, the Kingdom Come universe, the Dark Knight Returns universe (possibly) and The Dreaming. In fact, writing this, I'm not sure that the regular DC Universe Earth features in this issue at all...

Seasonal Greetings to you all! Happy Christmas, Hannukah, Winterval, Hogswatch, etc. to all of you. This time, I've locked the randomiser up and ignored its callings to bring you a special episode about one of my favourite comics ever - which also happens to be Christmas themed - Detective Comics #826, by Paul Dini and Don Kramer.
